Kids STEM Studio

We’re a space where kids explore science, technology, engineering, and math through fun and highly educational hands-on activities. We offer weekly classes, after-school enrichment programs, day-off camps, week-long camps, and STEM-centric birthday parties. Kids ages 4 to 14 uncover the dynamic power and potential of STEM subjects through projects featuring robotics, experimental design, engineering, computer coding, Minecraft and more.

Our hands-on programs engage students at every level, sparks creativity, develops critical thinking skills, ignites career possibilities — and is just plain fun! At Kids STEM Studio, the world’s future STEMists are born!

Why STEM?
Integrating 4 Pillars of Education

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Taken together, these subjects are the foundations of fields from healthcare to computer programming. However, integrating these studies gives children skills useful in any subject, including critical thinking, inquiry, problem solving and creativity.

Learning STEM is perfectly suited to kids’ natural desires to explore, experiment and get a little messy. It promotes thinking outside the box, looking at challenges from different angles and rewriting the narrative on setbacks as an opportunity to learn something new.

Kids STEM Studio was champion of the CPS Teachers' Strike 2019! Every day they had new, engaging coding activities in the morning, and engineering building projects in the afternoon. My daughter attended for a week this summer for camp. She loved the camp and wants to make this her primary camp next summer. We will be back for winter and spring break camps! We live in south loop and have friends that also love the after school program. Great space for kids.

My sons loves this place! he cannot wait for Saturday to come, so that he can go and build some Legos and code. Did I say code? my son is only 6 years old and he already loves technology and i think it is because of places like "Kids stem studio" where education is fun. I would recommend Kids stem studio to everyone. thank you
